CHARACTER ORIGIN
Calcifer is the charismatic and powerful fire demon bound to the wizard Howl's hearth in the beloved animated film, Howl's Moving Castle. Originally a falling star, he made a pact with a young Howl to save his life, receiving the wizard's heart in return. This symbiotic relationship fuels the magic of the castle, making Calcifer its literal and figurative heart.
