ABOUT

Fa Studio’s Lucky Prosperity Crossover stacks Boh, Heen, and Calcifer into a single towering composition that reads equal parts shrine and comedy — a plump, cape-wearing Boh presiding over a ruyi base buried in gold ingots, Soot Sprites, and mahjong tiles. Standing 280 mm tall, the piece is cast in imported resin and PU with paint work that gives Heen’s wool genuine texture and Calcifer’s flame genuine warmth. It’s the kind of piece that earns a second look from everyone in the room, collector or not.

DIMENSIONS

  • Width (X): 168 mm / 6.6 in
  • Height (Y): 280 mm / 11.0 in
  • Depth (Z): 235 mm / 9.3 in

CONFIGURATIONS

  • Boh sculpt — reimagined as a plump, red-caped fortune deity clutching a lucky money bag, riding atop Heen with unmistakable self-satisfaction
  • Heen sculpt — rendered with gloriously fluffy cream-colored fur, adorned with gold coins and a red prosperity sash, wearing the long-suffering expression only Heen could pull off
  • Calcifer torch accessory — flame demon sculpted mid-flicker atop a wooden staff, warm orange and red tones layered to suggest actual heat and movement
  • Heen (bird form) perched at the apex — black-and-white feathers spread mid-flutter, completing the vertical stacking composition
  • Integrated base — jade-green ruyi cloud form overflowing with gold ingots, traditional yuan bao coins, Soot Sprites wearing tiny gold hats, mahjong tiles, and gold bars; the entire foundation reads as a miniature altar to good fortune

Boh is the enormous, pampered baby son of Yubaba in Hayao Miyazaki’s 2001 film Spirited Away, transformed mid-film into a small mouse after a confrontation with Zeniba — a moment that strips away his coddled existence and quietly teaches him something about the wider world. Heen and Calcifer both appear in Miyazaki’s 2004 film Howl’s Moving Castle: Heen is Madame Suliman’s asthmatic messenger bird, while Calcifer is the fire demon bound to Howl’s hearth, whose crackling warmth anchors the entire castle. Fa Studio brings these three beloved Studio Ghibli characters together in an original crossover interpretation, recasting them as a stacked procession of fortune gods — a playful collision of two films’ worth of magic, reimagined through the lens of traditional Chinese New Year iconography.
