CHARACTER ORIGIN
The Yian Kut-Ku is one of the most recognizable Bird Wyverns in the Monster Hunter series, first appearing in the original Monster Hunter (2004) and serving as many hunters' true introduction to large monster combat. Territorial and quick to agitation, it is known for rearing back with neck extended and ear-fins flared — precisely the confrontational energy Version A captures. The Blue Yian Kut-Ku, its subspecies variant, carries the same volatile temperament wrapped in striking teal plumage, and Version B's coiled, wing-spread pose reflects the moment just before it launches into one of its signature spinning charges.
