CHARACTER ORIGIN
The Hatchling Dragon Egg concept interprets Rathalos and Rathian at the point of emergence rather than as fully grown wyverns. Folded bodies press outward with forelimbs extended and wings raised, suggesting the awkward force of a creature testing its movement for the first time. The paired monster families provide parallel treatments of their base species, subspecies and rare variants.
