ABOUT

JW Studio’s High School Days captures Son Gohan at his most quietly charming — not mid-battle, but mid-commute, school bag at his feet and hand behind his head on a sunlit city sidewalk. MR Chen’s paintwork brings warmth and texture to every surface, from the metallic sheen of the sculpted satchel to the layered greens of the diorama foliage. For collectors who love the softer, human side of Dragon Ball, this 1/6 piece earns its shelf space.

CHARACTER ORIGIN

Son Gohan is the eldest son of Goku in Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball Z, a series that defined a generation of action anime. Following the defeat of Majin Buu, Gohan steps away from full-time fighting and enrolls at Orange Star High School — trading his gi for civilian clothes and attempting, earnestly if awkwardly, to live as a normal teenager. This statue captures exactly that chapter: the hand scratching the back of his head, the slightly oversized orange trousers, the school bag dropped casually at his feet — the world's most powerful teenager trying his best to blend in.
