ABOUT

Bicycle Series No. 02 pairs Kiki and Tombo on the propeller bicycle, leaning into a fast coastal ride above a seawall display base. The oversized yellow propeller defines the front profile, while the narrow bike frame and closely arranged figures create a long, energetic silhouette. Sculpted waves and weathered railings ground the flight-inspired design in a seaside setting.

CHARACTER ORIGIN

In Kiki's Delivery Service, Tombo's enthusiasm for aviation is expressed through his improvised propeller bicycle and the coastal ride he shares with Kiki. His forward crouch suggests determined pedaling, while Kiki's open smile, swept-back hair, and billowing dark dress convey their speed and excitement. Their close seating and shared momentum keep the emphasis on the developing friendship between the two characters.
