ABOUT
Toybirds Studio’s Kinto’un Arale & Running Kid Goku is a two-piece crossover set built around one of the most charming what-if moments in Toriyama’s shared universe — Arale cosplaying as Son Goku, perched atop the Kinto’un, while a streetwear-dressed Kid Goku sprints alongside her. Toybirds sculpted both figures with rounded, chibi-proportioned forms and saturated paint that reads clearly at their compact 9 cm and 5.5 cm heights respectively. As the third and fourth entries in Toybirds’ ongoing Arale series, these two sit together naturally and reward the collector who already has the earlier installments on the shelf.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
This set is Toybirds Studio's original "Spring Outing" crossover interpretation of the beloved Toriyama shared universe — specifically the playful energy of Kid Goku's visit to Penguin Village, where Arale famously wanted to ride the Kinto'un and proved herself more than Goku's equal. Toybirds leans into the costume-swap concept: Arale sits atop the sculpted Kinto'un cloud in Goku's orange gi, adjusting her oversized glasses with one hand in a gesture that reads as both casual and self-satisfied, while Kid Goku sprints in a streetwear outfit complete with a winged "GOKU" cap and bow tie, his tail and wild hair fully intact. The pairing works because Toybirds frames the two as a matched set in motion — one airborne and composed, one grounded and full-tilt — capturing the comedic contrast that made their original meeting so memorable.
