Frieren is the silver-haired elven mage at the center of Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe’s manga series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, a story about an immortal mage retracing the journey she once shared with a hero’s party — now long gone — and slowly learning what it means to connect with people whose lives pass in the blink of her millennium-long existence.
