Naoya Zenin is a major antagonist in Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen, a prodigiously skilled sorcerer from the Zenin clan whose arrogance is matched only by his obsession with cursed technique superiority and clan hierarchy. This piece captures him as a child — barefoot, mid-sprint, fist raised and mouth wide open in a laugh that reads as pure, unguarded joy — evoking the brief flashback glimpse of young Naoya the first time he encountered Toji Fushiguro, a man with zero cursed energy who nonetheless made the entire Zenin clan feel small.
