ABOUT
Night Wing Studio and FuFuLoong reimagine Asuka Langley Soryu as a Sailor Senshi-inspired figure, blending Evangelion’s emotional intensity with magical girl theatrics in a pose that is pure, unfiltered Asuka. Available in two expressions — the teasing confidence of the Smile Version and the cool composure of the Proudly Version — each hand-painted piece captures a different layer of her contradictory character. Two versions, one unforgettable presence.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
Asuka Langley Soryu is one of the central pilots of Neon Genesis Evangelion, the landmark 1995 mecha anime series by Gainax and director Hideaki Anno. Fiercely competitive and outwardly dominant, she pilots Unit-02 and defines herself almost entirely through her performance — projecting an air of superiority that barely conceals the profound vulnerability beneath. This piece reimagines her in a Sailor Senshi-inspired costume, a playful crossover concept that channels her theatrical bravado — the pointed finger, the hand on hip — into the triumphant pose of a magical girl announcing her arrival, as if daring the world to keep up.
