Editor’s Letter
Archer Gilgamesh and Satoru Gojo – Jujutsu Kaisen show how differently a figure can stand against its setting. Dream Encounter Mew reduces the idea to a small subject and a single curved effect.

Gilgamesh lets the armour and red cloth establish the colour contrast. Gojo relies more heavily on shattered forms and blue energy around the body. Mew is useful precisely because it does not try to repeat that density at a smaller size: the water swirl is enough to support the figure. We would use those three approaches to decide what the collection needs next. A strongly coloured portrait can hold its place among elaborate scenes, while a small curved accent gives the eye a pause. The other selections add wings, paired settings and interior props, but none of those additions is automatically an advantage. The strongest choice is the one whose central figure remains readable in the position where it will actually be displayed.
Chapter 01
Armoured outlines: Gilgamesh, Sephiroth & Asta
Armour, a long weapon and a single wing establish strong outer shapes. These figures benefit from a clear background that allows the silhouette to stay distinct. The weapon should stay clear of neighbouring pieces.
Archer Gilgamesh
Archer Gilgamesh uses gold armour and long red cloth elements to create a direct standing portrait. The weapon extends the outline while the cloth introduces movement around the lower figure. The base remains a restrained support rather than a separate environment with competing subjects.
The listed height is 34 cm, with a length of 20 cm and width of 28 cm at 1/6 scale. We favour this when the costume should be the main attraction. A simple background gives the gold and red enough contrast, making additional scenery less necessary than a clear view of the armour and weapon.
Best for: a costume-led display with a strong gold-and-red contrast

Atmospheric frames: Gojo, Rukia & Yuta
Effects and broken ground can frame a figure without becoming the only thing the viewer notices. The principal pose should remain legible inside the setting. Depth matters as much as the upper silhouette.
Satoru Gojo - Jujutsu Kaisen
Satoru Gojo – Jujutsu Kaisen places the blindfold-off battle pose among shattered urban rubble and blue energy. The hand-seal arm can be exchanged, giving the upper figure a different gesture. Illuminated eyes add another presentation option within the same surrounding scene.
The listed dimensions are 43 cm high, 33 cm wide and 42 cm deep. We would judge the depth as carefully as the height, because the broken forms extend the composition around the figure. The appeal is a character held inside an active environment; the rubble should therefore remain visible instead of disappearing behind neighbouring displays.
Best for: an effects scene with room to see the surrounding broken forms

Contained worlds: Mew, Sylus & Reze
A small swirl, a chair or a shared travel setting can establish a complete visual world. The number of parts matters less than their relationship to the subject. A close viewing position helps the smallest details remain visible.
Dream Encounter Mew
Dream Encounter Mew curves above a sculpted water-swirl base. The long tail and rising effect produce a continuous loop around the small figure, giving the piece more movement than its size might suggest. Original, Blue and Silver colourways repeat that same underlying sculpt.
The overall heights are listed as 60 mm at 1/10 scale and 40 mm at 1/20. We like it as a close-view accent rather than a rival to the larger scenes. Its small size makes the chosen placement important: the water curve needs to remain visible above the front edge of the shelf.
Best for: a small Pokémon accent viewed at close range

Gilgamesh keeps the character in front.
Archer Gilgamesh is our lead choice for a collection that needs a strong individual portrait. The gold armour and red cloth carry the composition without a large environment. Satoru Gojo – Jujutsu Kaisen is the alternative when the surrounding action should be a major part of the display.
Dream Encounter Mew provides the clearest small accent. Its loop of water and tail supplies movement without imitating the density of the larger pieces. We would preserve those differences when arranging the group, allowing the portrait, effects scene and miniature curve to remain three distinct visual decisions. Give the small curve its own visible patch of the shelf.
A strong figure, an active frame and a small accent have different jobs.
