CHARACTER ORIGIN
Rex is the young protagonist of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, a sprawling JRPG developed by Monolith Soft for the Nintendo Switch. A spirited salvager who makes his living diving for treasure in the Cloud Sea of Alrest, his life changes forever when he awakens the legendary Aegis, Pyra, and becomes her Driver — setting out on a journey to reach the fabled paradise of Elysium. This statue captures Rex in a relaxed, off-duty moment that contrasts with his usual battlefield intensity, reflecting the earnest optimism and boyish charm he carries between the game's high-stakes encounters.
