CHARACTER ORIGIN
Makima is the central antagonist of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man (Shueisha, 2018โ2020), a Public Safety Devil Hunter whose calm authority conceals her true nature as the Control Devil โ a being that has manipulated every relationship around her from the very beginning. This statue’s concept draws directly from her character’s core dynamic: the whip held with effortless confidence, the half-smile that never quite reaches those amber eyes, the absolute certainty of someone who has never needed to raise her voice to be obeyed. It is PolarBear Studio’s original interpretive design, translating that psychological dominance into a lingerie concept that retains every ounce of her unsettling composure.
