ABOUT
POP.ART Studio’s Turn Back the Pendulum — Sousuke Aizen & Gin Ichimaru locks in the pair as they appeared a century before the main story: Aizen still wearing glasses, Zanpakuto drawn at his side, with a young Gin standing just behind him in standard shihakusho. Offered at 1/6 scale with an edition of 188 pieces, the Deluxe Version adds a second figure, a textured rocky base, and an alternate draw-stance upper body for Aizen — a meaningful configuration difference that changes the entire read of the display. At 188 pieces total, this is a tight run for a pairing that rarely gets a dedicated GK treatment at this scale.
CHARACTER ORIGIN

SCENE NOTES

This piece pulls from the Turn Back the Pendulum arc — the flashback set roughly 110 years before the main story — capturing Aizen and Gin as they existed before the betrayal was ever made public: Aizen still wearing glasses, composed and unhurried, Zanpakuto already in hand, with a young Gin positioned just behind him. That quiet, side-by-side dynamic is what makes the moment land; the power imbalance and the unspoken arrangement between them are already fully formed, even at this early stage. POP.ART frames it through stillness rather than action — no dramatic clash, just two figures standing on fractured stone, the calm before everything the series builds toward. The swappable draw-stance upper body in the Deluxe Version adds a second reading of Aizen alone, shifting the mood from composed observer to something more deliberate.
