ABOUT
MKO Studio’s Swimsuit Beach Ver. — Tachibana Nozomi & Tachibana Hikari captures the twin sisters across two complementary 1/6 scale statues: Nozomi mid-skip with a swim ring at 230 mm, and Hikari settled into a quiet moment on a wooden beach bench at 160 mm. Imported PU and resin construction carries the kind of translucency and surface softness that makes the flowing mint-green hair read as genuinely light-catching rather than painted plastic. With each figure limited to 99 pieces individually, these two are built to be displayed together — and the contrast in energy between them is exactly what makes the pair work as a shelf anchor.
CHARACTER ORIGIN

SCENE NOTES

MKO Studio frames the two sisters at opposite ends of the same afternoon — Nozomi caught mid-skip, one sandal half-off, swim ring swinging at her hip, waving with the kind of unguarded energy that defines her in every context she appears in; Hikari seated on a weathered wooden bench, chin resting in her hand, gaze drifting somewhere past the waterline. The contrast is the whole point: these two share a face, a halo design, and a tail, yet the studio uses posture and expression alone to make them feel like entirely different emotional states occupying the same beach. That quiet tension between the two — one pulling forward, one sitting still — is what elevates this beyond a standard swimsuit release and makes the pair genuinely more interesting together than either figure is on its own.
