RuoYeZhen Studio’s 1/20 scale Kingdra captures the Dragon Pokémon mid-surge, body arched upright above a cresting wave base that fans out in layered translucent blue. Cast in BASF Elastollan 1185A PU — a premium thermoplastic polyurethane chosen for its flexibility and fine surface resolution — the piece is offered in two pearl-finish colorways: Original (classic blue) and Flash (a soft lavender referencing the Gen III–V shiny palette). Water Slide Decal eyes add the kind of crisp iris detail that painted eyes at this scale rarely achieve. SCENE NOTESRuoYeZhen Studio frames Kingdra at the precise moment it breaks the surface — the instant the Pokédex describes when it emerges from the deep and the ocean responds. The wave base is doing real compositional work here: layered crests in graduated translucent blue give the piece a vertical thrust that reads as momentum rather than decoration, with the curl of Kingdra's tail anchoring the spiral at the base while the torso and head push upward and forward. The Water/Dragon typing lives in the silhouette — regal seahorse posture married to the kind of force that, lore-wise, is said to generate whirlpools simply by waking up.
