This is Toybirds Studio’s fourth entry in their Mashin Hero Wataru series — a compact, standing rendition of Shibaraku Tsurugibe rendered in their signature chibi-proportioned style, dual swords tucked at his hip and that unmistakable scowl locked in. At 8.5 cm paired with a Mega display base, Toybirds Studio sculpted the character’s stocky, wide-stance silhouette and wild spiked hair with a level of surface detail that punches well above what this scale typically delivers. As the fourth piece in a running series, this one makes the most sense in context — but it holds its own as a standalone portrait of the franchise’s resident dual-wielding samurai.
