ABOUT
Athena:X translates LAM’s original illustration into a 1/6 seated figure that leads with personality — Chong Xiao mid-bite on a tanghulu skewer, robes pooled around her, a sculpted koi fish curling at her side. The layered hanfu embroidery and individually detailed hair ornaments reward close inspection at every angle. For collectors drawn to character-driven pieces that feel genuinely alive rather than simply decorative, this one earns its shelf space.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
Chong Xiao — known affectionately as Mushi-Musume or "Bug Girl" — is an original character created by Firefly Animation Culture (FFACG), with this design illustrated by LAM. This piece presents Athena:X's original interpretation of the character in a festive spring celebration theme, capturing her in a relaxed, joyful moment at what reads as a traditional new year market — seated on the ground, robes slightly disheveled, wholly absorbed in the simple pleasure of a candied hawthorn skewer. The unguarded expression and the koi fish companion beside her give the scene a warmth that feels less like a posed figure and more like a stolen glance at a genuine moment.
