ABOUT

ShipGirl Studio’s tenth entry captures Gouden Leeuw in an unguarded, intimate moment — reclining across a plush cushion with one leg raised, her cascading braided hair and flush-tinted expression doing all the storytelling. At 1/6 scale in PU and resin, the piece balances refined surface detail with the series’ signature accessible pricing. For commanders who appreciate character depth rendered in three dimensions, this one lands differently.

HNLMS Gouden Leeuw is a Heavy Cruiser ship girl from Yostar’s mobile strategy game Azur Lane, representing the Royal Netherlands Navy vessel of the same name. She is portrayed as a confident, teasing elf-eared beauty whose composed exterior barely conceals a deeper attachment to the Commander — captured perfectly in her in-game line: “I meant to make you completely dependent on me… and yet here I am, the one who’s fallen in too deep.” This sculpture translates that rare moment of unguarded vulnerability into a reclining pose that is equal parts alluring and quietly honest.
