CHARACTER ORIGIN
Samurai Champloo is Shinichiro Watanabe's genre-defying anime that fuses Edo-period swordplay with hip-hop culture and modern sensibility. Mugen is a wild, breakdance-fighting vagabond from the Ryukyu Islands whose unpredictable style clashes with Jin, a stoic, classically trained ronin of devastating precision.
