CYZ Studio’s Saiyan Armor Rei Ayanami is a crossover original design placing Rei in full Saiyan battle armor — blue bodysuit, gold-and-white shoulder guards, white boots — standing over a textured alien-terrain base with a Haro resting at her feet. At 1/6 scale across a run of 99 pieces per version, the sculpt earns its shelf space through the contrast between Rei’s characteristic stillness and the kinetic, otherworldly costume. The Standard version pairs her with the Lance of Longinus on a deep-red swirling base; the Saiyan Armor version commits fully to the crossover concept with swappable hands.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
This is CYZ Studio's original crossover interpretation of Rei Ayanami reimagined as a Saiyan warrior. The concept leans into the quiet, almost alien detachment that defines Rei — a quality that translates with unexpected coherence into the cold authority of Saiyan battle dress. CYZ Studio stages the figure so that her characteristic stillness reads not as passivity but as composure before something vast, the alien terrain base and the Haro at her feet grounding the fantasy in recognizable Evangelion iconography. The Standard version anchors the other end of the concept, returning Rei to her plugsuit with the Lance of Longinus and a blood-red base that carries its own weight.
