Configurations

Standard Version (Original Color): Lavender colorway — Aerodactyl figure, magnetic wings, magnetic base with translucent amber energy effect, Water Slide Decal eyes applied
Standard Version (Shimmer Color): Stone-grey colorway — same configuration as Original Color with alternate finish

Both colorways share the same magnetic wing and base attachment system. The wings and base connect via magnets due to the pose’s structural demands — worth factoring into your display setup before committing.

Material & Packaging

Material: BASF Elastollan 1185A PU (a high-grade thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer — flexible, impact-resistant, and well-suited for large cantilevered parts like wings and tails)
Eye Detail: Water Slide Decals (thin film decals applied over the sculpt for sharp, consistent eye graphics)
No packaging details were provided for this product.

Other

Scale: 1/20
Wing & Base Attachment: Magnetic connection system used on both wings and base — a deliberate engineering choice given the pose’s weight distribution
Mass Production Note: Teeth will be refined to sharper points in the final production run compared to prototype samples shown
Handcraft Notice: Every production step is completed by hand — minor surface variations are inherent to the process and should be expected

ABOUT

RuoYeZhen Studio’s 1/20 scale Aerodactyl locks in the fossil Pokémon mid-roar, wings spread wide and jaws fully open over a jagged volcanic rock base with translucent amber energy tendrils curling beneath it. Cast in BASF Elastollan 1185A PU, the flexible thermoplastic polyurethane allows the large wing spans and tail to hold their pose without the brittleness risk of standard resin. Two colorways — the classic lavender and a cooler stone-grey — give collectors a genuine choice rather than a cosmetic one.

CHARACTER ORIGIN

SCENE NOTES

RuoYeZhen Studio frames Aerodactyl in a territorial dominance pose — perched low on fractured volcanic rock, jaws thrown wide open, wings fully extended, tail arched high. It reads less as mid-flight and more as the moment it lands and immediately asserts itself, which suits the character's aggressive, prehistoric temperament far better than a clean soaring pose would. The translucent amber energy tendrils rising from the base add atmospheric depth without cluttering the silhouette, and the open-mouth sculpt with the refined sharp teeth in the final production run will sharpen that aggression considerably. The choice of Elastollan PU over standard resin is what makes the wide wingspan and tail arc structurally viable at this scale without sacrificing the pose's drama.
