    Reze appears in Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man (Shonen Jump, 2018–2020) as the Bomb Devil — a Soviet-engineered hybrid weapon sent to eliminate Denji. What makes her arc so quietly devastating is the ambiguity Fujimoto leaves unresolved: the moments she spent with Denji at the café, teaching him to swim, sharing a first kiss, may have begun as manipulation, but they never quite felt like only that. This piece captures the emotional fault line of her farewell — perched on ruins she cannot escape, surrounded by doves she cannot follow, holding a flower she never got to give.
