This is MMLAND Studio’s original design concept — Psyduck mid-step through an oversized arched red door, one arm raised on the handle, caught in that signature blank-eyed pause between arriving and figuring out what to do next. MMLAND Studio built the piece around a two-material resin and PU construction, with the door prop serving as both structural anchor and the visual punchline of the composition. At roughly 14 cm total height, it reads as a tight, self-contained vignette — the kind of desk or shelf piece that earns its footprint through concept clarity rather than scale.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
SCENE NOTESThis is MMLAND Studio's original concept design, not a direct scene adaptation. The studio frames the piece around a single comedic beat — Psyduck stepping through a bright red arched door with the same vacant, mildly confused expression it carries everywhere, as if it has no particular idea what's on the other side and isn't especially worried about it. The red door reads as an auspicious threshold, a visual nod to the Chinese idiom of a lucky opening, but MMLAND Studio lets the character's inherent obliviousness undercut any grandeur. The result is a composition that works because the prop and the character are in perfect tonal opposition — the door is ceremonial, Psyduck absolutely is not.
