The second entry in MOCHI Studio and FloatingLight Studio’s qipao cosplay series reinterprets Sephiroth in a floor-length black dress with a high slit, fitted gloves, stockings, and stiletto heels. His relaxed stance and raised smoking pipe shift the familiar swordsman toward an elegant, theatrical portrait, while the sweeping silver hair defines the composition.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
In Final Fantasy VII, Sephiroth’s long silver hair and controlled, intimidating demeanor are central to his identity. This alternate costume retains those recognizable traits while exchanging his combat attire for a qipao-inspired collar, open bodice, ornamental closures, and draped skirt panels. It is a stylized costume interpretation rather than a recreation of a specific canon scene.
