ABOUT

The third entry in miumiu Studio’s 30-piece anniversary chronicle, this 1/10 scale figure captures Pikachu’s original 1996 Game Boy-era design in full sculptural form — the plump silhouette, the wary sideways glance, the bold lightning-bolt tail rendered with crisp edge definition. Limited to just 99 pieces worldwide and accompanied by a 30th Anniversary commemorative logo, it’s a collector’s piece built for those who remember exactly where they were when Pokemon first sparked to life.

CHARACTER ORIGIN

Pikachu is the iconic Electric-type Pokemon and the enduring face of the Pokemon franchise, which launched in 1996 with Pokemon Red and Green on the original Game Boy. This particular sculpt channels that debut-era design — the rounder, heavier body proportions and more guarded expression that longtime fans remember from those first pixelated sprites and early anime episodes, before the character's silhouette was gradually streamlined over the decades. It's a portrait of Pikachu as an entire generation first met him: compact, cautious, and quietly electric.
