At 1/6 scale and standing approximately 28 cm tall, the piece earns its shelf space through the quality of its skin-tone gradients, the textural contrast between the soft fabric drape of the shirt and the smooth finish of the legs, and a base composition — pillow, teddy bear, bare feet — that does real storytelling work without a single weapon in sight. For collectors who already have a plugsuit Asuka, this is the version that shows a side of the character the combat pieces simply cannot reach.

SCENE NOTESThis is SuMeng Studio's original off-duty interpretation of Asuka — not a battle frame, not a cockpit moment, but the version of her that exists behind the bravado: mid-yawn, barefoot, wearing her own Unit-02 number like a sleep shirt she grabbed without thinking. The tension in Asuka's character has always lived in the gap between the armor she projects and the vulnerability underneath, and SuMeng Studio leans directly into that gap here. The open-mouth yawn portrait, the weight shift in the standing pose, and the small teddy bear sitting quietly at her feet all work together to make the emotional read land without overstating it — the bear in particular pulling a lot of quiet narrative weight for something barely 2 cm tall.
