ABOUT

SHS Studio’s fifth and sixth entries in their ongoing Juuni Senshi Bakuretsu Eto Ranger GK series bring Nyorori and Urii together as a matched pair — the snake ranger rendered at 19.5 cm with his signature levitating gloves and stacked hat, the pig ranger standing compact at 12 cm with his chest crystal front and center. Cast in imported resin with PU finish, both pieces carry the clean, rounded design language of the original 1995 Shaft animation. At 188 pieces per character, this is a narrow edition for a series that rarely sees GK attention.

CHARACTER ORIGIN

SHS Studio’s interpretation leans into the quieter, character-defining register of both rangers rather than any single battle moment. Nyorori is rendered here in his signature eccentric mode — glasses, floating gloves, and the tall hat that mark him as the team’s gadgeteer outsider, hands clasped in that self-satisfied pose that fits a character known for ending every sentence with his own name. Urii stands wide and grounded, his chest crystal — the source of his signature Bi-e Beam — given prominent sculptural weight at center mass. Placed together, the height contrast between the two reads exactly as it does on screen: the tall, cerebral snake and the short, sturdy boar, two of the series’ most distinct silhouettes finally getting the shelf treatment they’ve been owed since 1995.
