CHARACTER ORIGIN
Yu-Gi-Oh! (originally serialized by Kazuki Takahashi) follows Yugi Muto, a mild-mannered duelist who shares his body with the spirit of an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh — later revealed to be Atem. Exodia the Forbidden One is the legendary five-piece monster whose complete assembly guarantees an automatic victory, a mechanic so rare it became one of the franchise's most iconic moments: in the very first season, Yugi draws the fifth and final piece of Exodia against Seto Kaiba, ending an impossible duel in a single, breathless instant.
