CHARACTER ORIGIN
Lelouch Lamperouge is the exiled Britannian prince at the heart of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, a mecha-political thriller by Sunrise. Granted the power of Geass — absolute obedience through eye contact — he adopts the masked identity of Zero to wage revolution against the Holy Britannian Empire. This piece evokes the quiet gravity of his final arc: a strategist who chose to bear the world's hatred upon himself so that peace could follow, seated beside C.C., the immortal witch whose contract set everything in motion.
