ABOUT

Heroes Studio’s Dark Deku renders Izuku Midoriya at his most untethered — tattered costume, feral crouch, and Black Whip tendrils erupting in every direction with a glow-in-the-dark finish that transforms the piece after dark. Set against a fully realized urban ruin diorama and limited to just 188 pieces, this is the definitive portrait of a hero fracturing under the weight of his own power.

CHARACTER ORIGIN

Izuku Midoriya, the central protagonist of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia, undergoes one of the series' most haunting transformations during his self-imposed solo vigilante arc. Consumed by the weight of One For All's accumulated power and the ghosts of its previous wielders, he abandons U.A. and pushes every Quirk to its breaking point — his costume shredded, his body battered, Black Whip lashing out like a living extension of his desperation. This piece captures that precise moment: not the hopeful hero, but the boy on the edge of losing himself entirely.
