CHARACTER ORIGIN
Frieren is the titular elven mage of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, the manga series by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, adapted into an anime by Madhouse in 2023. Having spent over a millennium honing her magic, she outlives her human companions and sets out on a journey to understand what their brief lives truly meant to her. Cookie Studio's original interpretation reimagines her in a Mimikyu costume — a quietly ironic fit for a character who has long wandered the world half-unseen, her immense depth hidden beneath an unassuming exterior.
