NightWing Studio’s Mecha Girl Asuka Langley Soryu is an original mecha musume interpretation that fuses Asuka’s iconic red plug suit with fragmented Eva Unit-02 armor plating, posed with quiet dominance over a defeated Unit-02 head sculpted into the base. Available in both 1/6 and 1/4 scale, the piece is built from an imported resin and PU composite and finished with hand-applied paint on every individual unit. Two scales, one design language — this is the kind of dual-release that lets you decide how much shelf real estate the piece deserves.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
This is NightWing Studio's original mecha musume interpretation of Asuka Langley Soryu — not a direct scene pull, but a design concept that distills her identity down to its core tension: the pilot and the machine as one. The fragmented Eva Unit-02 armor integrated into her costume reads as both uniform and wreckage, and the Unit-02 head base beneath her bare feet frames her as something that has already won. NightWing Studio leans into the contradiction that defines the character — composed posture, weapon in hand, standing over the very thing that defines her — letting the sculptural relationship between figure and base carry the emotional weight rather than relying on a single dramatic gesture.
