CHARACTER ORIGIN
Makima is the enigmatic Control Devil at the center of Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man (Shueisha, 2018–present), serving as the Public Safety Devil Hunter division's most feared and inscrutable figure. Behind her calm amber eyes and composed demeanor lies an absolute, predatory authority — the power to subjugate any being she deems lesser than herself, which is everyone. This piece captures the moment her true nature is fully revealed: unhurried, untouchable, surrounded by the instruments of her dominion as though the destruction around her is simply the natural order of things.
