CONFIGURATIONS
Version A — Bride
- Sylus figure in formal black suit with red accents and dark floral brooch detailing
- One extended hand reaching outward — the gesture that defines the entire emotional tension of the piece
- Tiered black staircase base dressed with a cascading arrangement of sculpted blooms in deep reds, blues, and whites
- White bird perched on a decorative post integrated into the base composition
- Real fabric elements incorporated into the costume
Version B — Bathroom
- Sylus figure bare-chested, wrapped in a white fabric towel — real cloth material, not sculpted resin
- One arm extended in a mirrored reaching gesture, creating a natural pairing with Version A
- Freestanding soaking tub base in cream white with a wooden tray accessory holding a wine bottle, red cup, and additional props
- Matte black faucet fixture sculpted into the tub surround
- Dark feathers scattered across the warm-toned wooden floor base — subtle narrative detail underfoot
- Barefoot figure stepping off the tub platform, with anatomical sculpting carried through to the toes
Both versions are designed to face each other, hands outstretched — displayed together, they complete a single moment of connection across two very different worlds.
