ABOUT

The MOON Studio’s Kurimanju statue distills one of Chiikawa‘s most charming recurring moments — the little chestnut enjoying a peaceful sake break atop a beautifully textured tree stump. Standing approximately 10 cm (3.9 in) tall with a magnetic attachment for easy repositioning, it pairs palm-sized charm with thoughtful engineering. A must-have vignette for any Chiikawa shelf.

CHARACTER ORIGIN

Kurimanju is one of the endearing side characters in Nagano's Chiikawa (literally "something small and cute"), a manga and anime series following tiny creatures navigating a world that swings between heartwarming slice-of-life moments and unexpectedly tough challenges. The chestnut-shaped critter is beloved for its gentle demeanor and its memorable fondness for sake — a running gag that gave rise to the iconic sake license card. This statue captures that exact cozy beat: Kurimanju perched contentedly on a tree stump, sake cup raised to its lips, tokkuri bottle at the ready, fully savoring the quiet pleasure of a well-earned drink.
