ABOUT

Origin Studio’s 1/4-scale Mai Shiranui trades battlefield intensity for refined sensuality, capturing the kunoichi mid-repose atop a plush fur mat. Realistic skin tones, intricately painted floral kimono motifs, and removable geta sandals reward close inspection from every angle. For collectors seeking Mai beyond the fight—poised, unhurried, utterly self-assured—this lounge interpretation delivers.

CHARACTER ORIGIN

Mai Shiranui is the iconic kunoichi of SNK's The King of Fighters and Fatal Fury franchises, renowned for her acrobatic Shiranui-ryuu ninjutsu and fiery fan-based attacks. Beyond the arena, she carries an unmistakable elegance rooted in traditional Japanese aesthetics. This piece channels her quieter, more intimate side—sake cup in hand, kimono draped loosely—evoking the calm confidence she displays between bouts.
