CHARACTER ORIGIN

Red is the silent, legendary protagonist of the original Pokémon Red and Green games and the player character whose journey through Kanto defined an entire generation of trainers. He reappears as the secret final boss atop Mt. Silver in Pokémon Gold and Silver — a wordless encounter where he simply adjusts his cap, locks eyes with the challenger, and lets his team speak for him.
