Insect Breathing Shinobu Kocho captures the Insect Hashira mid-stance, sword raised and butterflies scattering outward as her poison-laced technique unfolds — the calm and the lethal occupying the same breath. Zayico Studio delivers this in both 1/6 and 1/4 scale, built from a multi-material combination of resin, clear resin, PU, and alloy, with a transparent sculpted wave base that pushes the display footprint well beyond the figure itself. Edition sizes of 158 and 88 respectively, with globally unified numbering, keep this one firmly out of open-edition territory.

SCENE NOTESZayico Studio's concept title frames this not as a single battle moment but as a portrait of Shinobu's core contradiction: a fighter whose entire method is beautiful precision concealing irreversible poison — the "Insect Bite" reading of the title pointing directly at that duality. The weight of that concept lands hardest when you consider that her fighting style exists precisely because conventional strength was never an option, making every graceful movement a calculated act of lethality. Zayico interprets this through a mid-technique pose — sword extended, body turned, the butterfly haori caught mid-billow — while the clear resin butterflies orbiting her figure visualize the Insect Breathing manifestation that only she can see. The sculpted wave base, rendered in layered translucent blues with lotus blooms breaking the surface, pulls the display into something closer to a diorama than a standard statue, grounding an airborne moment in something that feels both serene and about to break.
