ABOUT
DD Studio’s Imperfect Form Cell captures the bio-android at his most predatory — hunched forward on a cracked rock terrain base, absorption stinger extended, every spotted exoskeleton plate and beetle wing rendered with layered paint that shifts between deep emerald and warm orange under different lighting. At 50 cm tall in PU construction with an edition of 100 pieces, the piece earns its place as the definitive Imperfect Form representation on a Dragon Ball shelf.

CHARACTER ORIGIN
SCENE NOTES
In his Imperfect Form, Cell retains the full insectoid silhouette — upright but barely, with horns, segmented armor, and three-toed taloned feet still dominating the read. This is the form defined by hunger and calculation rather than confidence, single-minded in pursuit of his goals, stalking the landscape before the androids were ever within reach. DD Studio frames that predatory tension through the forward lean of the torso and the way the stinger tail arcs out behind the figure — not coiled, not retracted, but live and ready. The beetle-like wings and long tail ending in a stinger used to absorb other life forms are both fully present and sculpted with the kind of surface complexity — spotted exoskeleton panels, orange abdominal ribbing, visible segmentation — that makes the Imperfect Form so visually demanding to execute at this scale. The rocky base keeps the composition grounded while reinforcing the sense of a creature that has just claimed its territory.
