CHARACTER ORIGIN
In Toho's 1995 film Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, Godzilla's nuclear heart spirals into catastrophic meltdown, engulfing his body in molten energy — the form fans know as Burning Godzilla. His final opponent, Destoroyah, is a nightmarish crustacean-demon mutated by the same Oxygen Destroyer that killed the original 1954 Godzilla, evolving into a colossal Perfect Form with massive wings and a devastating micro-oxygen beam. Their battle across Tokyo is one of the most emotionally charged sequences in the franchise — Godzilla's last stand before his iconic meltdown death.
