ABOUT

First Encounter with the Going Merry presents the Straw Hats’ first ship cutting through bright East Blue waters beside a compact island landscape. QiHang Studio builds the display around the vessel’s distinctive figurehead, layered wave effects, rocky cliffs, waterfall, clouds, and rainbow. The dense vertical composition gives this 30 cm-long piece a strong shelf presence from multiple angles.

CHARACTER ORIGIN

First Encounter with the Going Merry captures the clear skies, open water, and uncomplicated optimism associated with the crew's early East Blue journey. The moment carries weight because companionship and raw resolve were all they truly possessed. QiHang Studio reads that memory through a storybook seascape, placing the ship among surging water, green cliffs, soft clouds, and a rainbow while keeping the familiar figurehead at the center.
