Emo Studio’s Evolution Mewtwo is the studio’s second entry in their Evolution Statue series โ a multi-figure original composition that spans Mewtwo’s full arc from cloned infant to psychic apex, anchored by a head-sized transparent resin orb crackling with three-mode LED lighting. Standing 45 cm tall across a 40 cm wide footprint, the piece layers imported resin, PU, and high-clarity transparent resin into a display that reads differently lit and unlit. This is Emo Studio’s original interpretive composition built around the full emotional and existential arc of Mewtwo โ not a single frozen frame, but a visual biography: the vulnerable infant Mewtwo floating in fluid, the crystalline Mew that is its genetic origin, the battle-ready adult form with psychic energy coiling around its arms, and the transparent variant rendered in blush-pink high-clarity resin that reads almost like a memory or a ghost. The massive central orb โ described as comparable in size to a human head โ is the compositional and thematic core, representing the psychic power that defines Mewtwo’s identity while also evoking the containment tank where it first gained consciousness. Emo Studio resolves the tension between Mewtwo’s origins and its power not through a single dramatic pose, but by staging all of those states simultaneously, letting the three-mode LED lighting shift the emotional register of the entire piece depending on how it is displayed.
