ABOUT
Deepmyth Studio’s Dog Alien (Runner) 1:1 Scale Bust from Alien 3 captures the creature in its signature low-stalking posture — head dropped, claws extended, every rib and vertebra of that quadrupedal frame locked in predatory tension. Sculpted by artist Feng Wei and referenced directly against original film production data and hundreds of production stills, the sepia-toned skin reads with the kind of layered depth that flat photography can’t do justice. At 80 × 90 × 96 cm and limited to 80 pieces worldwide, this is the definitive life-size statement piece for serious Alien franchise collectors.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
SCENE NOTESThe Dog Alien — also known as the Runner or "the Dragon" — is the creature that stalks the corridors of Fiorina 161 throughout Alien 3, a Xenomorph whose quadrupedal host physiology sets it apart from every variant that came before it: no dorsal spines, a smooth elongated cowl, double-jointed hind legs, and that unmistakable sepia-brown skin. What makes the Runner genuinely unsettling isn't raw aggression alone — it's the low, purposeful way it moves, more predator on a hunt than soldier in a swarm. Deepmyth chose to freeze exactly that quality: the bust is posed mid-stalk, head angled downward and forward, claws reaching, the exposed ribcage and spine rendered with the kind of biomechanical intricacy that rewards close inspection from every angle. The breathing-light base adds a pulse to the display that keeps the piece feeling alive rather than static, and the swappable tongues let the collector tune the final read — coiled restraint or open threat — without altering the core sculpture.
