Dream Studio’s DJ Turntable Scratchmen Apoo locks in the Beasts Pirates’ informant at his most natural — behind the decks, one hand on the platter, the other raised mid-performance, the whole composition radiating the chaotic showmanship that defines the character. At 1/8 scale and standing 27.5 cm, the octagonal base doubles as a fully detailed DJ rig, giving the piece a display footprint that reads as a complete stage rather than a simple platform. With a true-to-order run of just 35 pieces, this is one of the rarest Apoo GKs to come to market in any scale.

SCENE NOTESDream Studio frames Apoo not mid-attack but mid-performance — which, for this character, is the same thing. His fighting stance mirrors the way a DJ moves their hands when mixing on turntables, and that duality is exactly what this piece leans into: the pose reads as pure showmanship on first glance, and as a loaded combat stance the moment you know the character. The Oto Oto no Mi allows the user to transform parts of their body into musical instruments and play music with a variety of destructive effects, and the sculptural decision to pair the figure with a full octagonal DJ rig as the base reinforces that the stage and the battlefield are one and the same for Apoo. The crimson military coat, the signature long arms caught at two distinct points of the mix, and the manga-panel backdrop printed into the base all work together to make this feel less like a static display and more like a freeze-frame pulled straight from Onigashima.
