CHARACTER ORIGIN
L Lawliet is the enigmatic world-class detective at the center of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's Death Note, pitting his singular intellect against the god-complex of Light Yagami across one of manga's most celebrated psychological duels. This piece channels the quiet, unnerving certainty L carries throughout the series — the moment he tells Light directly, face to face, that he believes him to be Kira, fully aware of the risk. PalmFlame Studio's original artistic interpretation reframes that psychological gravity as physical suspension: a figure caught between falling and absolute control, the Death Note drifting at his side like an accusation he refuses to release.
