ABOUT
EnsouToys’ 1/6 scale take on Kurokawa Miu places her in a full black latex catsuit, leaning into a chrome bar stool against a neon-soaked lounge backdrop — a pose that leans into the cool, guarded side of YD’s original character design rather than the softer deredere read. At approximately 25 cm, EnsouToys sculpted the latex surface with a visible gloss-to-matte contrast across panels, and the dual portrait system — masked and unmasked — gives the display two completely different emotional registers from a single base sculpt. For a 1/6 original-art piece at this scale, the scene-building commitment and interchangeable portrait approach make it a considered shelf anchor.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
This is EnsouToys' interpretation of Kurokawa Miu drawn from YD's original illustration work — specifically the full-latex, masked variant of the character rather than the softer pink-top reading seen in other studio adaptations. EnsouToys chose to frame the pose around a bar-stool lean in a neon lounge environment, which grounds the figure in a specific mood: composed, slightly detached, watching. The dual portrait system is the key sculptural decision here — the masked head reads as deliberate concealment, while the unmasked portrait with its calm, direct gaze shifts the entire emotional weight of the piece. Both sit on the same body, but they tell different stories.
