ABOUT

Star Studio’s 1/4 scale Morrigan Aensland distills the Darkstalkers icon into 88 hand-crafted pieces, each offering multiple display configurations that range from her classic heart-cutout leotard to a more provocative chain-adorned variant. The bat wings carry a deep purple-to-pink gradient that shifts with the light, while the coiling red tail and rising tendril base give the composition a theatrical, almost theatrical sense of supernatural presence. Ten alternate-color units distributed by blind lottery make this already scarce release genuinely unpredictable — exactly as she would want it.

CHARACTER ORIGIN

Morrigan Aensland is the iconic succubus and one of the central figures of Capcom's Darkstalkers (Vampire) fighting game series, first appearing in Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors (1994). As heir to the Aensland demon clan, she is defined by an intoxicating blend of supernatural power and deliberate nonchalance — a being so overwhelmingly strong she pursues battle purely for the thrill of it. Star Studio's interpretation leans fully into that duality: arms raised behind her head in languid confidence, wings spread wide, and the world of shadows literally coiling at her feet, she looks every bit the apex predator who has never once needed to try.
