CHARACTER ORIGIN

Goku is the Saiyan-raised-on-Earth protagonist of Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball, a series that defined shonen manga for generations. This piece reimagines young Goku in a colorful cycling-inspired streetwear outfit — a lavender vest layered over a teal zip-up jacket, bright yellow trousers, and chunky orange sneakers — channeling the carefree spirit of his early adventures before the battles grew world-shattering. The triumphant fist-pump and beaming expression recall the pure, unshakable optimism that made Kid Goku so beloved.
