Mountain Rain Cloud Studio’s Control Devil Makima is a dual-figure composition presenting two distinct readings of the same character — the composed, white-shirt Public Safety officer holding the Tomato Devil, and the predatory, bare-legged figure perched above her on a crumbling stone cross. At 1/6 scale, the Deluxe Version reaches 59 cm tall, built in full imported PU resin for the figure and resin for the base, with a hard edition cap of 99 pieces total. The duality of the two portraits within a single display structure makes this one of the more architecturally ambitious Makima pieces on the market.
CHARACTER ORIGIN
SCENE NOTESMountain Rain Cloud Studio builds this piece around the central tension of Makima's character — the unbridgeable gap between the face she shows and what she actually is. The lower figure captures the Public Safety facade precisely: white shirt, black tie, that flat amber gaze, and the Tomato Devil held up almost casually, as if she is simply curious rather than in absolute control of everything in the room. That stillness is the point — it is the posture that had Denji convinced he was cared for while every relationship around him was being dismantled. The upper figure answers it directly: the black bodysuit, the cross, the crows, the blood-red chains and tendrils radiating outward — the Control Devil without the mask. Placing both portraits on the same vertical axis, one above the other, is Mountain Rain Cloud's clearest statement: the woman holding the Tomato Devil and the devil enthroned on the cross are the same being, and the distance between them is exactly zero.
